This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven lawyer to join a growing and dynamic Commercial IPCT team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of intellectual property, commercial, and IT matters, while benefiting from flexible working arrangements and excellent career development prospects.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including product supply and distribution, agency agreements, outsourcing, and managed service contracts.Advise on intellectual property (IP) matters, including licensing, IP portfolios (trademarks), and non-contentious IP issues.Provide guidance on data protection compliance, including UK GDPR and related privacy laws.Advise clients on bribery and modern slavery compliance.Manage IP disputes and collaborate with clients to ensure their commercial and IP needs are met.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Be a key part of a national team that is highly regarded for its client-focused solutions in the IP, IT, and commercial sectors.QualificationsAt least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a solicitor, with exposure to commercial, IP, IT, procurement, and projects matters.Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in commercial contracts and IP matters.A solid understanding of data protection law and IP management.The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.A proactive approach to business development, with a passion for client relationship management.The OfferingA competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including an annual bonus scheme.Flexible working arrangements, offering a good work-life balance.A supportive and collaborative team environment that encourages personal and professional growth.Access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities via the firm's Learn platform.A comprehensive rewards package, offering benefits such as cycle to work, healthcare, critical illness cover, and more.The chance to work with a diverse and respected client base, including major corporates and innovative start-ups.About the FirmThis national law firm is forward-thinking and ambitious, with a reputation for delivering practical, client-focused legal and professional services.
