This role will maintain direct engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) at national, regional and local levels. MSL will bridge scientific excellence with field execution, working closely with therapeutic area teams and field sales team to develop and implement field medical strategies. This role will be responsible for engaging with KOLs and implementing field medical strategy in a designated territory across multiple therapeutic areas and across the whole life cycle of Teva’s product portfolio.This role is expected to be in the field 3 to 4 days a week. Success in this role will be measured by:Therapeutic area knowledge assessmentTerritory coverage and engagement metricsScientific projects completion and impactCompliance and regulatory adherenceCross-functional collaboration and impact on outcomesTerritory & Travel RequirementsThe territory for this role will cover London OR South EastExtensive travel required across UK and IrelandInternational travel for meetings and conferencesOvernight stays required for field visits and meetingsField based role with frequent visits to Teva sites across Ridings Point, Harlow, Ireland and any subsequent sites as appropriateThis role requires ‘time on territory’ of 3 to 4 days per weekHow You’ll Spend Your DayStakeholder Engagement and Management in the Field (c.80% of your time)Establish and maintain strategic relationships with KOLsEngage with NHS trusts and academic institutions to implement field medical strategyIdentify and support regional and local rising star KOLs ensuring their involvement in various scientific projectsDevelop and execute KOL engagement strategiesEngage with HCPs at major scientific meetings and congressesEngage with investigators as appropriateStrategic Planning & Execution (c.5%)Collaborate with therapeutic area medical and scientific advisors and field sales teams to develop comprehensive field medical strategiesTranslate national medical strategies into actionable field execution plansEnsure alignment between field medical objectives and business priorities.Monitor and evaluate strategy effectiveness, adapting approaches as neededProvide medical insights and market intelligence to therapeutic area and field sales teamsSupport data generation projects where appropriateScientific Excellence (c.5%)Maintain deep therapeutic area expertise and stay current with medical literatureProvide scientific leadership and credibility in interactions with healthcare professionalsSupport medical information requests and scientific discussionsContribute to medical publications, research collaborations, and scientific initiativesSupport formulary inclusion of Teva’s products by providing up-to-date scientific dataMaintain knowledge and awareness of the competitive environment, ongoing clinical research and publications in the designated disease areaCross-functional Collaboration (c.5%)Partner with wider medical team and field sales teamSupport product launch preparations and lifecycle management activitiesContribute to medical education programs and advisory board planningCollaborate with global and EU medical teams on key initiativesLiaise with MSLs from other countries to share best practicesEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements, including the ABPI Code of Practice, IPHA, HPRA, MHRA regulations, and Teva internal processesStrategic Partnership & Representation (c.5%)Deputise for AD, Field Medical as appropriatePartner with AD, Field Medical on high-priority strategic initiativesRepresent Medical Affairs at UK, Ireland, EU, and global meetingsYour Experience And QualificationsAdvanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, Pharmacy, or equivalent)Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal qualifications where candidates demonstrate exceptional track record to cover all requirements for the MSL roleExperience in an MSL role OR a clinical psychiatry/mental health background within the NHSStrong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirementsDemonstrated strategic thinking and business acumenKnowledge of UK and Irish regulatory landscapesExperience of engaging with key stakeholders in neurology or psychiatryPost‑graduate qualification in neurology or psychiatryPharmaceutical industry experienceExperience in working with field sales teamPreviously supported formulary inclusion of new productsExperience of working in the NHSInvolvement in pre‑launch medical planning for a new product launchExperience of launching new products, especially in neurology or psychiatryKnowledge of treatment landscapes in neurology and psychiatryExisting relationship with Key Opinion Leaders in neurology and/or psychiatryUnderstanding of clinical trial management, especially Phase II/III/IVAlready Working @TEVA?If you are a current Teva employee, please apply using the internal career site available on "Employee Central".
