The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. They will oversee the organisation, supporting its growth and transformation. The right candidates will have a deep passion for and knowledge of racing, and relevant industry expertise. All Non‑Executive Directors will be expected to bring an understanding of the requirements of corporate governance, high ethical standards, and a commitment to the continuing success of racing.Further, across the Non‑Executive Directors to be appointed, the BHA is looking to add a specific set of experiences to the Board :Deep experience leading Audit CommitteesUnderstanding of the interplay between horseracing, sports betting and gamblingExperience managing sports media rightsExperience with digital transformationAn advocate for racing and its importance to the British public.All of the Non‑Executive Directors will be independent.
