Senior Legal Counsel – InternationalScroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Location: UK – Manchester (highly preferred)Employment Type: Full‑TimeSummaryOneStream is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with experience in software, SaaS and professional services agreements to join the OneStream Legal team. The role will cover multiple jurisdictions across EMEA, partnering with Sales to draft and negotiate high‑value, strategically important SaaS agreements along with ancillary documents including Data Protection terms, security terms, codes of conduct, etc. The role will be involved in the sales cycle from an early stage, helping Sales to shape more complex transactions and interacting directly with customers and prospects, as well as various departments, on the full range of contracting activities from NDA to termination.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate SaaS, software license agreements and professional services for the EMEA.Familiarity with one or more compliance related subject matter areas: Privacy, AI, Export, Open‑Source, DORA, Accessibility, and Entity Management.Provide support to Sales, Deal Desk, and Customer Success Managers on issues of contract interpretation and potential disputes.Legal research on issues related to SaaS, software and professional services across multiple jurisdictions.Leading or contributing to Legal team projects, which may include drafting new templates, working with specialist teams to solve new challenges and other commercial or corporate projects.Required Education And ExperienceQualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate.6+ years PQE with at least 2 years specialising in software, SaaS and professional services agreements.Experience of working across a range of jurisdictions, particularly in Europe.Solid knowledge of Data Protection laws.Preferred Education And ExperienceDemonstrated ability to quickly digest complex information and make well‑reasoned, informed decisions.Highly motivated self‑starter, able to collaborate effectively with Legal team members and other departments.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with good attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to any situation, including difficult customer negotiations, C‑Level executive summaries, and team collaboration.Comfortable in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesEthical, credible and professional.Results‑driven and detail‑oriented.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex topics to customers and prospects who may be unfamiliar with OneStream’s offerings.Ability to multi‑task and manage a busy workload across multiple time zones.Comfortable interacting with C‑level executives.Flexible and adaptable, with a “can‑do” approach to new challenges.Team player with an enthusiasm for contributing to the success of team members and OneStream as a whole.Who We AreOneStream is how today’s Finance teams can go beyond just reporting on the past and Take Finance Further™ by steering the business to the future.
