With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and authenticity, we are committed to delivering excellence across our operations — from sourcing ingredients globally to getting fresh products efficiently to our customers.Role OverviewThe Logistics Controller will take ownership of all import and export processes, ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders. This role will also play a key part in driving continuous improvement within the logistics and warehouse functions — optimising efficiency, reducing costs, and improving performance through data-driven KPI management and operational excellence.Skills & ExperienceProven experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain management — ideally within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs clearance processes.Experience managing third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders.Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Excel-based data analysis.Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and negotiation skills.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.Continuous improvement mindset — experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is advantageous About Taiko FoodsTaiko Foods is the UK's leading manufacturer of sushi and Japanese-inspired foods, supplying premium products to major retailers and foodservice partners.
