🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday — 9:00am to 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
*
Coordinate vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs.
*
Oversee equipment checks, certificates, MOTs, and compliance documentation.
*
Ensure all vehicles have valid insurance, road tax, and required licenses.
*
Manage Autopay, congestion charges, and related payments.
*
Oversee truck licences, compliance documentation, and renewals.
*
Ensure vehicle availability and readiness for client assignments.
*
Monitor and control fuel usage per vehicle, identifying irregularities.
*
Manage claims, incident reports, and communication with insurers.
*
Maintain accurate fleet records on spreadsheets and fleet management systems.
*
Negotiate with vendors, garages, and service suppliers.
*
Monitor GPS/telematics data to track vehicle locations, usage, and performance.
*
Support planning for fleet expansion, replacement, or optimization.
*
Provide regular operational and cost reports to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
*
Previous experience as a Fleet Manager or in fleet operations/logistics.
*
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and transport regulations.
*
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
*
Proficiency in Excel, fleet systems, and digital record keeping.
*
Transport Manager CPC Certificate will be advantage
