But that's not all – we're creative problem solvers with an entrepreneurial spirit.About the roleWe’re looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (DaaS & Analytics) who combines technical expertise with a drive to deliver real commercial impact. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our sales team to unlock upsell opportunities and win new business. Acting as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, you’ll gain a deep understanding of customer use cases, identify ways to maximise customer value, and design tailored solutions that demonstrate our capabilities.Critical to this role is bringing the voice of the customer back into our business, and in doing so helping our teams shape strategy and roadmaps for DaaS. This is an opportunity to influence the future of a growing and strategically important aspect of the ICIS business, building operational excellence and delivering impactful business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Partner with account managers to understand customer use cases and build solution designs.Build trusted relationships with customers and prospects, acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales process.Translate a customer’s business and technical requirements into solutions that align with customer goals.Take an analytical approach to identifying new DaaS opportunities within the existing customer base.Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts to prospective clientsCollaborate with our Product, Tech and other internal teams to bring the voice of the customer back into our business and to influence the roadmap and strategic direction.Requirements:Thrives in a high-performance environment, where courage and curiosity are valued, and where we commit to commercial excellence.Demonstrable experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role.Strong understanding of common customer-side technologies, including analytical systems such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data visualisation tools, and operational systems such as Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) and Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, and CRM and ERP systems.Knowledge of Gen AI tools and experience with data analysis languages such as Python or R.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Problem-solving mindset and consultative approach.Ability to excel in a cross-functional setting with sales, product, technology and other business teams. xpwpeyx Working for you :We know that your wellbeing and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
