As our Legal Counsel, you will become a known and trusted partner within the business and act as a key point of contact for all legal enquiries, providing an approachable, informative and effective service.Your main duties will include:Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalising legal documentationManaging, preparing and updating contracts, policies and proceduresAdvising colleagues at all levels on commercial, contractual and operational matters (including employment law, compliance and risk issues).Building trusted relationships across the business and becoming a go-to advisor for practical, solution‑focused guidance.Please note we would consider individuals on a full time or part time (0.8 FTE) basis.About YouWe are looking for a UK qualified legal professional who has a proven track record in commercial and corporate law. Ideally you will have gained this experience in‑house, but we also welcome applications from those in private practice looking to make the move in‑house.You must have:Experience of advising on a variety of corporate and commercial legal mattersA commercial mindset with an understanding of how legal issues affect businessesStrong background in commercial contractsHigh attention to detail with excellent communication skills.Confidence working independently but enjoy being part of a collaborative, supportive team.Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.Experience with, or an interest in, technology or regulated environments in the UK and US would be highly beneficial but is not essential.About UsAll our benefits information can be found in the downloadable Benefits document under 'Information' on the right hand side of this screen.At Perspectum, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
