As we increasingly engage with SaaS cloud and AI providers we are seeking a Legal Counsel who understands the legal risks associated with these technologies. The successful candidate will support PSI Legal team by reviewing and negotiating contracts efficiently and pragmatically while also helping PSI stay ahead of evolving regulatory developments.Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.If you're passionate about applying your legal expertise in the fields of technology, data and AI we'd love to hear from you.The position is open to candidates based in the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will :Review draft and negotiate technology-related contracts (SaaS cloud providers AI solutions etc.)Monitor and interpret emerging data regulations across jurisdictions (data protection & privacy laws AI regulations data localization requirements etc.)Support compliance with NIS2 and other cybersecurity regulationsAssist in the implementation of a contract management tool and AI solutions for LegalContribute to the Data Governance project particularly around data classification and retention schedulesWork closely with PSI's Legal, Data Protection, InfoSec, IT and business teams to align legal strategy with operational needsStay abreast of legal developments in technology data and AI and share insights with the broader Legal teamQualificationsLaw degree with 5 years of post‑qualification experience ideally in technology, data or regulatory lawFamiliarity with EU regulations such as GDPR, NIS2 and the EU Data ActExperience in multinational legal environments and cross‑border complianceExposure to legal xpwpeyx tech tools and digital transformation initiatives is a plusAdvanced contract drafting and review skillsStrong communication, negotiation and organizational skillsAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detailExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly MS WordRemote WorkYesEmployment TypeFull-timeKey SkillsHR Development, Delivery, Flooring, Irrigation, ACCA, Document ManagementDepartment / Functional AreaLegalExperienceyearsVacancy1
