This senior executive role requires a forward‑thinking, influential leader capable of navigating diverse regulatory environments across the UK, Europe, and other global locations as the organisation expands. You will ensure consistent regulatory adherence, promote a strong compliance culture, and shape the governance standards that support the company’s long‑term strategic ambitions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a cohesive global compliance strategy that ensures adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK (Lloyd’s, PRA, FCA), Europe, and other global locations.Monitor international regulatory developments, advising the leadership team on emerging risks, trends, and obligations.Act as the primary senior contact for global regulatory bodies, international industry groups, and market associations, building strong and transparent relationships with regulators.Compliance Framework, Policies & ControlsDesign, implement, and maintain a robust global compliance framework tailored to a multi‑jurisdictional managing agency environment.Establish, review, and enforce compliance policies and procedures that align with corporate strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory standards across all regions.Provide strategic compliance guidance and deliver training to senior leaders and teams globally, driving a unified compliance culture.Governance, Ethics & ComplianceChampion high standards of corporate governance, ethical conduct, and accountability across all international operations.Advise the Board and executive leadership on governance structures, controls, and processes that support sustainable global growth.Ensure business practices, cultural norms, and stakeholder interactions reflect the organisation’s commitment to integrity and ethical standards.Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Strategic SupportSupport work closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other functions globally to ensure an aligned approach to compliance and regulatory risk management.Support international business development initiatives, providing compliance insight on new products, territories, partnerships, and distribution channels.Represent the organisation in global industry forums and regulatory events, reinforcing the company’s reputation for compliance excellence.Skills & Experience10+ years of senior compliance experience within the insurance industry, including extensive knowledge of Lloyd’s of London and UK regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated experience leading compliance functions across multiple regions or complex regulatory environments.Strong familiarity with regulatory interactions in the UK (PRA, FCA) and exposure to European and other international regulatory regimes.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high‑performing, geographically dispersed teams.Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels—including Board members, executives, and external regulators.Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and operationalise complex regulatory requirements across diverse markets.Commercially astute, with the ability to balance regulatory demands with business growth objectives.Personal AttributesVisionary thinker with a pragmatic, hands‑on leadership approach.Strong global business awareness and the ability to adapt to evolving regulatory and market environments.Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with the capability to manage multiple priorities across regions and time zones. xpwpeyx Confident, credible, and resilient, with a strong sense of integrity and professional responsibility.Seniority LevelDirectorEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionOtherIndustriesInsurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
