Role OverviewIf you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Non‑Executive Directors work in partnership with the Chair and the Executive Directors on the Board to advise on strategy development and oversee the performance of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. They share collective responsibility with other Directors for the Trust’s success, using available resources to deliver healthcare and improve the health of local communities.Non‑Executive Directors bring independence, external skills and perspectives, ensuring robust governance and high standards across the Trust’s activities. They are held to account by, and engage with, the Council of Governors through quarterly meetings and other forums.This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and experience to influence healthcare delivery, drive innovation, and shape transformational change that improves outcomes for patients and communities.QualificationsOperated at a senior level in large or complex organisations.Strong financial acumen or broader commercial background.Will be open to candidates with diverse experience who can contribute.Assessment ProcessStakeholder panel – 6th February 2026Interview – 11th February 2026Additional InformationWe want to improve the lives of patients, families and carers, across all our communities, and support our colleagues and volunteers within the NCA family.
