This role is of strategic importance and involves identifying, winning, and delivering multidisciplinary inputs for energy projects supporting the UK’s Net Zero commitments. We seek individuals with a creative spirit, a dedicated approach, and a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.About WSPAs one of the largest environmental consultancies in the UK, WSP is involved in high-profile projects across sectors, overseeing environmental inputs from conception to completion. Learn more about us at .Your ResponsibilitiesLead and manage environmental teams across multiple sectors and projectsExpand our water sector offerings through thought leadership and business developmentProvide environmental advice to clients and project teamsPromote sustainable design and environmental enhancementsOversee project performance, including technical, quality, and safety aspectsBuild and maintain client relationships, identify new opportunitiesDevelop innovative techniques and contribute to business growthSupport team development and promote an inclusive workplace cultureContribute to WSP’s strategic objectives and uphold health and safety standardsCandidate RequirementsDegree in environmental or planning-related field or equivalent experienceProven experience in EIA delivery for major water projectsKnowledge of consenting processes like Habitats Regulations AssessmentsStrong understanding of environmental issuesLine management experience and ability to develop teamsTrack record of driving business growthExcellent communication skillsWhy Join WSP?Work on landmark projects globally, enjoy flexible work arrangements, and benefit from a supportive environment that invests in your development.
