Principal Sustainability Consultant – CoventryMaximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.We are looking for a Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our growing Sustainability Team. This person will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients towards achieving their sustainability objectives. Leveraging your expertise in energy services compliance such as Part L building regulations, thermal Bridging calculations, condensation risk analysis, TM52/59 modelling.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):Consulting with clients to assess their current sustainability practices and develop tailored strategies to achieve net zero emissions targetsProvide expert guidance on compliance with energy services regulations, including Part L building regulations, and assist clients in meeting regulatory requirementsConducting comprehensive sustainability audits and develop roadmaps to improve environmental performance across various facets of operationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in sustainability consulting, with a focus on Energy services such as Energy and Sustainability Statements, Overheating analysis, Part L compliance, Condensation Risk Analysis, Thermal Bridging calculationsIn-depth knowledge of UK energy regulations and standards, including Part L building regulations and other relevant legislationQualified in the use of DesignBuilderStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform sustainability strategies and recommendationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisationProject management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlinesProfessional certifications such as CIBSE accreditationWhy SOCOTEC?Here at SOCOTEC UK, we have over 2,000 colleagues across our divisions delivering world‑class services to our customers.
