This role is expected to deliver client solutions that derive above country strategic insights for clients, including Brands, Functions and Account Management initiatives. Project work may be globally funded and coordinated, or involve aggregation and consistency for multiple locally driven projects depending on global client needs. The role requires client engagement due to the more complex nature of global strategies vs local client strategies. GIPs manage multiple client projects with little/no day-to-day support and may flex across other clients during high workload periods in support of GCP needs. The role requires a solution-focused approach and the ability to think beyond standard STEM offerings. There may also be data package development as part of Business Development activity with the commercial team. Beyond project work, SBAs are expected to own and drive strategic initiatives within the business, with guidance but working toward independent ownership, including succession planning and long-term view. Initiatives vary from designing internal training programmes to developing novel tools or improving internal processes, with scope for leveraging personal strengths to meet business needs. The GIP role is critical for delivering high-quality strategic insight for designated GCP accounts and requires collaboration with the Project Director, Account Manager and often a VP of strategic accounts. Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior clients up to C-suite, is essential to meet client requirements and ensure alignment for centrally managed projects across involved markets.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand how global brand team/marketing strategies direct multiple local markets and work with global PDs to clarify key strategic questions for above-country clients. Provide recommendations on how to capture these questions in global workbooks, including direct recommendations to clients where appropriate.Demonstrate understanding of specific client HCP engagement models and brand planning processes and use this to tailor global projects.Liaise across internal functions to maintain alignment across projects within the client account / centrally funded project and provide direction on client-specific expectations.Provide direction to local analysts on expectations for their allocated accounts (e.g., slide layouts, terminology).Advise the Project Director on developing, visualising and communicating strategic insights to above-country clients.Advise local analysts based on their deeper understanding of specific client brands, structures and execution methods.Communicate and influence in the global matrix to align data expectations and outputs across multiple local projects, including reviewing local workbooks as part of global projects.Review local project work within the account at key stages to ensure alignment with client needs.Maintain up-to-date client-specific materials for use in local projects, including guidance for non-standard elements or requirements.Liaise with the central client to provide status updates on projects and develop plans or materials during project setup.Combine and align local databases and investigate data using quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate KPIs at an above-country level.Identify different market archetypes from the data to ensure conflicting data sets are not combined in a way that loses above-country insight.Produce high-quality presentations and other deliverables for clients using PowerPoint.Support others in the analysis team to meet client deadlines and drive development and efficiencies locally and on international projects.Share best practice in global project work across the Analyst team.Provide recommendations on how to present data to differing above-country stakeholders (e.g., senior commercial/medical leadership, customer excellence, marketing or sales) including simplifying data insights for senior clients.Provide coaching/mentoring support to junior analysts to help with onboarding and upskilling.Drive strategic initiatives outside of immediate project work to refine business processes, tools and materials.Essential SkillsMastery of analysis – internal applicants must be an experienced business analystPrior track record of successExcellent organizational and coordination skills - ability to prioritise and handle multiple competing client priorities calmly and independentlyComfortable with conflict management and ability to give and receive feedback effectivelyAdvanced communication skills – ability to present to and influence within departmentAbility to see the bigger picture and an entrepreneurial spiritStrong learning agility to react to quickly changing business needsStrong problem-solving capabilities – ability to investigate, identify, challenge and provide solutions as appropriateAbout STEMSTEM Healthcare is a dynamic, fast-paced global pharmaceutical and life sciences strategic benchmarking firm.
