You'll work closely with wider team to identify opportunities and challenges for the division and ensure effective control and governance structures are maintained to optimise management time, effort and effective decision making.If you've performed a similar role previously, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career.The difference you'll make:Acting as a trusted advisor to the Head of Strategy & Governance and the wider team on critical strategic questions facing the businessSupporting SCIB's strategic planning processes, including developing strategic and budgeting plans for the UK SCIB platform in partnership with CEO, finance, product teams and othersAssisting with the design and implementation of strategic transformation programmes to ensure that UK or branch specific aspects are addressedLeading regular and ad-hoc strategy reviews on key business issues and testing growth and efficiency hypothesesManaging the evolution of SCIB UK's Booking Model architecture in line with the growth of the business whilst ensuring that it remains aligned to relevant regulatory expectationsActing as the key nodal point for SLB's engagement with the UK regulatory bodies and providing close support to the Head of SCIB UK by managing presentations, Board and Exco papers, and Client and employee interactionsWhat you'll bring:Extensive experience in a similar position focussing on Investment BankingExcellent knowledge of Investment Banking products, structure and regulationIn depth understanding of structuring and execution of strategic transformation programmesRelevant experience of working on regulatory and governance related mattersAbility to work with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery and execution of projectsIt would also be nice for you to have:Excellent stakeholder management skills, working in close collaboration with the support and business unitsEducated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Banking, Finance, Business, Management)Any additional languages especially SpanishMBA or Masters in Finance or equivalentWhat else you need to know:This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop.
