This is a key role, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This challenging and rewarding position will give you the opportunity to make your mark in a commercially focused and fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesImplementing and maintaining financial controlRegular communication with all levels of management across the businessKnowledge of accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals and carrying out monthly project reviewsAn understanding of cost management accounting ensuring controls and processes are being adhered to as well as improved where possible.Preparing all levels of month-end reporting packs in a timely and accurate mannerSupporting on a variety of other financial reporting and analysis tasks as needed to fulfil company and group requirements. Supporting the Statutory accounting and reporting process carried out through Group Finance, including the external audit of the IWS M&E businessAs the role is within a small team, there will be a requirement to support day-to-day financial processingThe Ideal CandidateQualified in CIMA or ACCA, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is a must, given the fast-paced environment of the business.Good communication, analytical and presentation skills.
