At Mayo Wynne Baxter, we’re seeking an accomplished legal professional to join in our expanding Private Client Team based in Brighton.This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical ability, a client-focused mindset, and a vision for growth — both personally and for the team around them.Why This Role?As part of a firm known for its excellence and integrity, you’ll advise on complex matters involving wills, probate, powers of attorney and more. You’ll also play a key role in building the team and mentoring more junior members and business development activity.Find out more about the team here.What you will be doing:Leading on complex Private Client matters, with a focus on wills, probate, powers of attorneyManaging and developing client relationships built on trust and expertiseSupporting junior team members through supervision, mentoring and delegationPlaying a proactive role in marketing, networking and expanding our client baseWhat you will need:4–8 years’ PQE with demonstrable expertise in Private Client workSolid experience in complex wills, probate and power of attorneyCommercial awareness and the ability to give pragmatic, solution-focused adviceDemonstrable experience of building and shaping teams and developing staffConfidence in client-facing roles and in contributing to firm-wide business developmentA compassionate, clear communicator with a collaborative, team-first approachHow we work?We embrace agile working and offer a blended approach to where and how we work.
