This is a strategic and influential role where you will:Lead the end‑to‑end product vision and strategyEnsure solutions are desirable for our customers, viable for the market, feasible for delivery, and sustainable for long‑term growthOwn and maintain a clear, compelling product roadmapChampion exceptional user experience across all product touchpointsCollaborate closely with engineering, commercial, client, and operational teamsGuide the product development lifecycle from concept through to launchUse data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and optimise product performance.This is your opportunity to drive innovation, shape industry‑leading solutions, and influence the success of a product portfolio used by major financial services providers.What you’ll be doingThe Head of Product Management has overall responsibility for the profitability of our SaaS product propositions, including.Team LeadershipFoster a collaborative culture within the product team, ensuring clear communication, goal alignment, and a focus on innovation.Motivating and inspiring teams to deliver business outcomes.Articulating the product vision, objectives and outcomes.Developing product teams by providing regular valuable feedback, coaching & mentoring.Relationship ManagementBuild cross‑functional relationships with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer management to align on product goals and strategies.Collaborate closely with the engineering & quality teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of product features.Create and execute a stakeholder management and communication plan.Ensure our product proposition deliver positive net promotor scores.Product Strategy and VisionDevelop and communicate a compelling product vision, aligning it with our mission, market trends, and customer needs.Conduct market analysis to identify competitive trends and customer insights that inform our roadmap and positioning.Own and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch to continuous improvement.Product Development and DeliveryDefine and prioritise a product roadmap that supports growth objectives and delivers value.Drive a data‑driven approach to product development and prioritisation, using metrics to guide decisions and validate product‑market fit.Use analytics and performance data to continually optimise the product for growth and market fit.Market Centric ApproachChampion customer insights and feedback as a key driver in the product development process.Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, pain points, and usage patterns to refine and improve the product.Work with the Customer Management to ensure product enhancements align with customer feedback and use cases.Product FinancialsBuild and manage the P&L for each product proposition.Adhere to agreed revenue and cost positions, tracking actuals against forecasts and manage activity to ensure deliver against forecasts.Accurately articulate product P&L position to key stakeholders.GovernanceImplement controls so work has approval to proceed based on value delivered.Define and track key product KPIs (e.g., engagement, retention, satisfaction), ensuring that the product team is aligned on goals.Prepare and present product performance updates and roadmaps to senior leadership and other stakeholders.What We’re Looking For8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with 3+ years in a leadership or Head of Product role.Financial services, financial sector and financial product experience.Strong understanding of product development cycles, from discovery and research to delivery and iteration.Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills.A passion for continuous learning and improvement.Ability to adopt a continuous improvement mindset by challenging effectively and exploring new ideas.Desire to proactively seek to establish a broader knowledge of industry and technology trends to foster innovation and growth.Curious so solutions designed meet market needs & maximise revenue opportunity.Ability to effectively manage profit & loss for each product.Working knowledge of delivery methodology, tools, and techniques.Strong technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.Ability to travel to industry events, prospects and customer locations, as required.Reporting lines and key stakeholdersYou will report into the Chief Technology Officer and closely with:ExternalCustomer stakeholders3rd party suppliersIndustry expertsFinancial services regulatory bodiesInternalELT membersDelivery teamsArchitecture teamsOperationsPhoebus Perks: Why work with us?If you’re ready to be part of something special, we’d love to hear from you Private Health care scheme including dental, optical, and mental health cover Wellbeing Choice -
