Join us and be part of something extraordinary.ResponsibilitiesRaise and manage new trade orders in BNY’s proprietary order‑management and trade‑workflow platforms, tracking each trade through to settlementOversee the LMA/LSTA par and distressed loan closing process serving as the escalation lead to ensure on‑time, accurate closingsSupport complex loan transactions and refinancings alongside our clientsAnalyze and interpret documentation for distressed assets (Credit Agreements, Shareholder or Co‑Op Agreements, etc.) to guide settlement and booking decisionsPartner with third‑party settlement vendors on loan settlement and troubleshoot breaks or exceptions to maintain seamless, timely settlementMonitor intraday liquidity and optimize settlement allocations for multiple funds—balancing urgency, efficiency and riskResearch and process corporate actions and restructurings, driving outcomes that support fund objectivesTrack and resolve position breaks, escalating to the desk and technology partners as needed; continuously refine our operating model—identifying automation and process‑enhancement opportunities in partnership with BNY Technology, Treasury and Fund Finance teams (Run our Company Better)Liaise with custodians, administrators and internal teams on trade, position and pricing queriesDeliver monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management, compliance and external partnersCollaborate with the Global Bank Loans Middle Office team—spreading best practices and fueling a culture of continuous improvement (Thrive Together)Qualifications3–6 years’ hands‑on trade‑operations or settlement experience across syndicated bank loansDeep understanding of bank‑debt closing processes, credit‑documentation conventionsAdvanced MS Excel skills, with a track record of building models or tooling to drive efficiency (Spark Progress)Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills—able to distill complexity and “Own It” end‑to‑endSelf‑starter who thrives under pressure, manages competing priorities and continually seeks to learn (Stay Curious)A collaborative spirit, committed to BNY’s “Thrive Together” culture of knowledge‑sharing and team successOur CultureAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
