Criterion Capital are a London based developer, owner, and operator of our own hotels, including our in-house Zedwell brand. We have our own in-house design team developing concepts, brand standards, and designs for our pipeline of hotels.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Interior Designer with hospitality or hotel experience to help develop our brand standards.You will support the design team develop brand design standards and work on projects, delivering designs from initial concept through to completion, ensuring our hotels and spaces combine style, practicality, and an outstanding guest experience.Key Responsibilities Produce the technical and aesthetic brand standards for our hotel brands. Develop room types and concepts in conjunction with the design team and hotel operations team.Work closely with the hotel operations team, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team to coordinate design elements, resolve challenges, and maintain consistency across projects.Collaborate with the procurement team to identify suppliers, obtain competitive quotes, and ensure the right balance between design vision, cost efficiency, and operational needs.Produce mood boards, sample boards, and design presentations to communicate concepts effectively to internal teams, senior management, and external partners.Prepare drawings for bespoke joinery when required and liaise with construction teams to oversee their execution.Define project requirements, scope, and timescales during the design phase, working with stakeholders to set clear objectives and deliverables.Research, source, and recommend materials, furnishings, and finishes, with a focus on quality, durability, and suitability for high-traffic hospitality environments.Oversee work on site to ensure that installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and best practice, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to new and ongoing projects.Carry out other design-related duties as required, supporting the team and business with additional tasks that contribute to successful project delivery.SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, Revit & all Adobe design software.Creative flair with an excellent eye for detail, whilst working within financial and time constraints.Strong communication and presentation skills.Good organisational and project management abilities, able to juggle multiple projects.Commercial awareness, balancing aesthetics, quality and cost. A proactive, hands-on “can do” approach. A team player who works well with others.ExperienceAt least three years of professional experience in interior design within the hospitality sector. A strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects, including finished projects, schedules, and drawings. xpwpeyx Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related subject.
