This is a brand‑new store. As the new assistant store manager, and alongside the new store manager, you will be heavily involved in the selection and recruitment of your new team. Until the store opens, you will be based in another nearby store to undergo your training. An Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the store’s day‑to‑day responsibilities. You will take on managerial tasks such as overseeing employees, modelling effective leadership and offering excellent customer service. A primary responsibility is to carry out the Manager’s role in their absence. You will utilise this role to acquire and develop the Store Manager’s duties and ultimately be in training to advance to this position. We invest in training and development. Our aim is to build an environment where employees can achieve, develop, and progress. You will be supported with regular 1‑2‑1s, training, and support and given all the tools to thrive.About YouProven experience in fashion retail, ideally in a managerial role within a fast‑paced environmentA strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high‑performing teamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesExceptional organisational skills and a customer‑first mindsetA deep understanding of the fashion industry and current market trendsWhy Footasylum?We’ve been on a journey, growing significantly over the last few years.
