Retail & Marketing Assistant - The Wellness Store

The Wellness Store is a fresh new presence in health and wellness retail, dedicated to making high-quality, natural health products more accessible to everyone. We’re a one-stop destination for those seeking to live a healthier, more balanced lifestyle - offering premium vitamins and supplements, herbal remedies, nutrition and weight management products, and at-home health test kits. As a young, growing business, we’re building more than a store - we’re building a community. That’s why we’re looking for someone who’s not only passionate about health and wellness, but also excited to help us spread the word and grow our brand from the ground up.
The Role
This role is a blend of customer service and creative marketing. You’ll be the friendly face customers meet in-store and the authentic voice representing The Wellness Store online and in the community.Your time will be spent supporting customers in person, and when the shop is quiet, helping to drive awareness, engagement, and growth through marketing and brand-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
- In-store
- Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Learn and maintain strong knowledge of our wellness range
- Uphold store presentation, merchandising, and health/safety standards
- Marketing & Brand Growth
- Be the face of The Wellness Store across social media and local marketing
- Create and post engaging, authentic content (with full support and brand guidance)
- Help develop strategies to grow local awareness and online following
- Design or contribute to marketing materials (e.g. leaflets, posters, promotions)
- Brainstorm and execute creative ideas to bring new customers into the store
Who We’re Looking For
- A confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people — in person and online
- Some retail or customer service experience is essential
- Interested in marketing, social media, and brand growth
- Reliable, proactive, and creative - someone who takes initiative and enjoys variety in their work
- Comfortable being the friendly face and voice of a brand
