The position offers excellent opportunities for personal development and to grow with the business.About The RoleThe main purpose of the role will be to manage the day‑to‑day site‑based activities and operational teams for the Company’s major infrastructure projects, delivering works safely and within deadlines. You will ensure work complies with all relevant legislation and industry best practice.Key AccountabilitiesCo‑ordinate all aspects of work so that the project is completed in line with client requirementsManage own teams’ performance and competence of all responsible staff including sub‑contractorsIssue Work Instructions and RAMS and co‑ordinate the requirement for any Client specific safety documentation (e.g., Permit to Dig, Break / No break Zones, CDM documentation)Ensure all relevant Operatives are signed on to the correct RAMSEnsure weekly track sheets and diaries are completed and submitted on timeConduct site audits and plant checksMaintain and update Phase Health & Safety plan as works proceedPlan, co‑ordinate and manage resources required to complete worksRegularly monitor the programme delivery and provide site progress reports to the Project ManagerEnsure suitable levels of supervision of all direct teams and subcontracted resourcesEnsure installation complies with relevant Construction Drawings and Cross sectionsTake responsibility for the opening and closing of the site facilitiesManagement of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc.Management of site housekeeping, discipline, behaviour etcSafe storage and co‑ordination of materials and monitoring of wasteAttendance at project and company related meetings, compile site reports as necessaryMentor and train Assistant Site Manager and junior members of staffMonitoring use of PPE in accordance with the hierarchy of risk controlTo complete time sheets for all Operatives on your site – and to return the complete time sheets and overtime request forms to the Contracts Manager by the end of every weekAttend all mandatory training courses related to your roleTake responsibility for the safety of yourself and others – deliver toolbox talks and embed a culture of zero harmLiaise with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office, local authority representatives ensuring any client and public complaints are resolved efficientlyResponsible for placing orders for materials through the procurement teamResponsible for ordering Plant & Transport through the P & T departmentAbout You – Essential Skills, Knowledge & ExperienceCSCS cards GoldNVQ Minimum Level 4SSSTSNRSWA: Streetworks SupervisorDeep Excavation / Temporary works supervisorEmergency First AidSPEN Contract experienceDesirable Skills, Knowledge & ExperienceExisting Experience as a site managerSMSTSConfined SpacesBenefitsAuto‑enrolment pensionDeath in service 1x salaryOccupational Health SurveillanceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFunded Qualifications and TrainingCompany vehicle and fuel cardAdditional InformationWe respectfully request no agencies at this time.All applicants must reside and have the right to live and work in the UK.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of: Site Manager, Project Coordinator, Site Supervisor, Health and Safety Operative, NEBOSH, Construction Site Manager and Infrastructure Project Site Management may also be considered for this role. xpwpeyx Please click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
