Globally recognised as the market leading UK firm for charities and purpose-driven organisations, our commercial teams are also using law as a force for good and driving change from the inside out.Our values are key to our success, and you’ll be able to make a real impact from day one.Come and join the firm who have a standout and authentic commitment to a triple bottom line, where we’ll never prioritise profit over people and planet.The roleTo thrive in this role you will;Have solid previous experience gained in a legal environmentHave excellent communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrate great attention to detailHave strong organisational and project management skills; be a multi-tasker with the ability to manage assigned tasks in an efficient and timely mannerBe a smart, fast, reliable and enthusiastic team playerHave the ability to develop close working relationships with key stakeholders in the practice and business teamKey ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will:Support the BDM team in delivering the BDM strategy to our key stakeholdersRespond to marketing requests for informationCreate, manage, edit, revise and proof marketing materialsManage video and podcast outputWork with the BDM team on the delivery and management of eventsManage the delivery of targeted BD and marketing campaignsSupport the BDM Managers in the delivery of the Key Client ProgrammeSupport the BDM Manager and BDM Director in the delivery of the Commercial Client Task force objectivesSupport the Senior BDM Manager and BDM Director in the delivery of a new websiteSupport 3 key legal groups in the delivery of their objectivesProduce ad hoc reports and research as requiredSupport the Proposals & Client Intelligence Manager on the delivery of complex tendersAssist with directory submissions and support on creds packsAct as a final reviewer of creds pack and other BD materials from the Junior BDM Executive and the BDM AssistantsSupport in the development of the Junior BDM Executive and the BDM AssistantsSupport the wider BDM team with any additional projectsSpecific tasks may change over time, so we’ll need you to be adaptable and flexible as we continue to meet our clients’ needs.Which qualities do we look for?The ability to build, maintain and nurture relationships.A client-centric approach.Teamwork – there is a place for individual effort but we highly value a collaborative approachA results-focused mentality – we hope you’ll challenge the status quo if you feel it’ll benefit our work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A genuine interest in a business development focused role and the work we do.Finally, we want people whose values reflect our own and who feel inspired working in a firm with a strong social purpose.About the BDM teamWe’re a collaborative team that enjoys a fast-paced, fun working environment.
