To provide professional accounting services to clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with deadlines while maintaining an inclusive and collaborative approach.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Key Responsibilities Maintain client records and reconcile ledgers.Prepare management accounts, consolidate financial reports, and complete regulatory returns.Prepare statutory accounts.Process, review, and approve journals and reference data on the ledger.Approve payments in line with delegated authority and monitor outstanding invoices/statements.Monitor cash movements and balances, escalating to the Client Manager as needed.Process payroll on behalf of clients.Engage with regulatory bodies, auditors, and clients professionally.Ensure policies, procedures, and controls are documented, followed, and updated.Stay informed about regulatory changes and collaborate with clients, third parties, and internal teams to ensure controlled implementation.Support recruitment, training, development, and knowledge-sharing within the team.Assist clients with audits.Participate in additional projects and tasks as required.Key Performance Indicators Adherence to client service-level agreements (SLAs).Commitment to accuracy and compliance with quality standards.Ongoing professional development and knowledge-sharing with colleagues.Key Relationships PoloWorks clients and external partners.Client Finance team and internal stakeholders.Experience & Skills Experience in preparing management accounts, annual reports, and financial statements.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Commitment to professional ethics.Client-focused with the ability to build strong relationships.Effective time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Demonstrates behaviours aligned to the PoloWorks PRIDE values:Pioneering – we don’t stand stillResponsible – We do the right thingInclusive – we all play a roleDelivery Focused- we provide services we are proud ofEmpowering – we equip people to be their bestKnowledge & Qualifications Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.Knowledge of general insurance finance, including regulatory returns (desirable).Familiarity with SUN/Q&A accounting software (desirable).It's our mission to empower our colleagues to achieve their potential and we know that teams perform best when they are diverse, and every team member feels that they belong. xpwpeyx It is the unique contributions of all PoloWorks colleagues that drive our success, therefore we are committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone is empowered to do meaningful work and is recognised for their efforts.
