Situated in a quiet residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the home provides residents with a peaceful environment, the home is surround by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park. The home offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated teams are hand selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the resident's individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional level of care, Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022. The home proudly embodies the Lovett Care commitment to excellence, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and supported. Eden Manor has a dedicated activities and well-being team who cover a 7 day period to provide engagement and socialisation to all who live in the home and the local community.We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team. To be responsible for organising the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to enable the dining experience for our residents to be smooth and efficient at all times. You are responsible for dining room preparation, cleanliness and set up, for ensuring that the meals are served in a timely, presentable and in a correct manner. This role is an exciting role leading a team of Hospitality Assistants including rotas, training, supervisions. We have a 40 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £13.20 Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.Role Responsibilities:Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.Support and assist visitors.Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.To ensure that all training given is adhered to.Ensure records and reports are properly written up e.g. cleaning schedules, work sheets, fridge temperatures and that all HACCP paperwork is completed.Manage, allocate duties and supervise the hospitality team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff.Take responsible for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.Skills and experience required:Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is essential.Participation in activities organised in the Home is essential.The BenefitsOpportunities to progress through our career paths into more senior and management rolesBank holiday and overtime enhancements5.6 weeks annual leave per annumPaid DBSUniform providedPaid trainingRefer a friend referral scheme, for the following roles only - Registered Nurse, Team Leader / Senior Care Assistant and Care AssistantExcellent induction programme for new startersA rewarding career with lots of opportunities to progress within the companyOngoing support and training for nationally recognised qualificationsA competitive rate of payWellbeing programmesRecognition awards - employee of the month and golden ticketsOngoing career developmentPension schemeEarlyPay - access to your money as you earn (pay advance)Who Are We?At Lovett Care, we've been delivering exceptional care since 2009, with homes across England and in Wales.
