They create the optimum conditions to achieve shared business, team and client goals and objectives through effective leadership. They are experts in invention led planning and drive towards our agency mission. They enjoy pitching and lead new business opportunities where appropriate. They live the Goodstuff values and contribute towards ensuring we have happy people, happy clients and happy profitability.Reporting to Managing Partner.Responsibilities include:Management & leadershipSet the tone and pace for the team through effective, flexible situational leadershipSkilfully delegate and focus efforts on areas that will deliver most business impactMotivate and galvanise a team towards shared objectivesFacilitate effective and productive team meetings, appraisals and 1:1sChampion ‘Frequent Fearless Feedback’, creating opportunities for two-way feedback to be givenSet direct reports smart and motivating objectives to support development and progressionManage resource needs and take lead role in recruitmentCraftInspire our agency mission by focusing the team on opportunities to create high profile, award worthy workDirect strategic responses to brief, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities through the planning processFocus team on invention and getting to good ideasLead pitches and new business opportunitiesHave oversight of the flow of briefs, deliverables and overall output of teamSet clear goals linked to broader business objectives as part of the team and client strategyLead new business opportunities, managing the team, pitch process and deliverablesPlay an inclusive and integrated role within the client departmentClientsBuild strong, influential senior client relationshipsSet the benchmark and coach Goodstuff’s gold-standard client servicing principlesDeliver the client roadmap by managing and reacting to challenge and changeFacilitate focused and productive client meetings with clear outcomesProvide expertise and objective strategic adviceMake informed decisions when resolving client issuesDevelop proactive ideas and initiativesManage client contracts, scope of work and PRF frameworks ensuring all contractual commitments are being delivered againstCultureLead from the front, role modelling Goodstuff values.Inspire a culture of continuous learning and development to support growth and progression.Seek inventive solutions to problems with a focus on doing the right thing.Discover and develop a personal ‘And Some’CommercialDeliver happy, sustainable profitability across a portfolio of clients.Manage client contracts, scope of work and PRF frameworks ensuring all contractual commitments are being delivered against.Be agile with commercial planning as part of the delivery of the client strategy. Identity opportunities for Otherstuff growth linked to client business objective.Responsible for timely and accurate client forecasting Accountable for frictionless financial process across the teamThe requirementsExperience operating at Business Director level across a multitude of disciplinesExceptional omnichannel capabilities across online and offline mediaMust have exceptional knowledge across brand, with the ideal candidate also having full funnel, or some performance, experienceExperience working on FMCG clients is keyIdeal candidate would have experience in working on key flagship accounts alongside the ability to flex down and support teams in running smaller pieces of businessExcellent client servicing skills with the ability to build effective relationships and positively influence othersEntrepreneurial flair to spot opportunities for clients & sell them inExceptional leadership skills and ability to flex styleDemonstrates high levels of emotional intelligenceAuthentic, committed and resilient with the ability to work at pace & multi-taskPassionate about inventive ideas and drives forward the agency missionCreate a consistently positive personal impactIs a clear and concise communicator who listens wellCommercially astuteDemonstrates sound instincts and judgement in ‘doing the right thing’Able to think around problems and get to inventive solutionsMade of different stuffGoodstuffers are a group of individuals made of different stuff.
