Residential Team Leader Location: Warrington Pay: £15 per hour plus £30 per sleep in Shift pattern: 1 on 2 off basis including sleep ins Extraordinary Days Every Day At Cambian you’re not just workingTake the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.- you’re shaping futures, furthermore as a Residential Team Leader, based within Wigan every moment you spend with our young people (ages 8–18) helps them feel safe, valued and supported.A simple "How was your day?", a shared laugh over a board game or encouragement during a tough moment- these small interactions build trust and shape lives.Some days will be challenging but every breakthrough, every smile and every step forward will remind you why this work truly matters.What You’ll Do As a Residential Team Leader you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.Where You’ll Do It Our home is a two bed Children's home for those with LD and EBD needs.Staff are therapeutically trained in being able to deliver a unique service that caters for Children's needs whom may have suffered abuse neglect and lack of parental guidance in their short lives.The home is situated on a quite suburban street and has family feel with neutral décor and modern furnishings.We have one young person in the home currently.Our young person is friendly and working towards semi independence with assistance from staff and also ahs access to a mentor whom visits the home Monday to Friday to complete independent life skills and facilitates regular activities.Our young person is seeking part time employment and education.Our young person also has access to in house clinical services whom also provide supervisions and training to the staff team to further assist out young person.The team has regular team meetings, group supervisions as well as individual supervisions to ensure they are receiving support in order to care for our young people.The team plan activities outside of education hours and support education as well as independent skills to further promote our young people to prepare for independence.We treat the home as ‘Home from home’ to give that family feel.Who You Are Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager- focused on achieving outcomes for others.Experience in residential childcare and level 3 qualification in residential childcare/childrens and young peoples workforce Why Join Us?
