As an inspirational leader, you will build new client relationships while supporting growth and leadership of the rail sector and lead Ramboll’s offering in stations, depots and associated developments across the UK.Your New RoleAs our new MEP rail sector lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing Ramboll’s offering in Stations, Depots and associated developments across the UK.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead rail projects of scale as the most senior Ramboll point of contact on a project, delivering projects profitably and to client satisfaction, managing project financial performance, change and commercial risk.Demonstrate strong technical engineering skills and deliver rail building services design incorporating digital engineering.Have experience in roles such as CEM, CRE, DPE, PE or equivalent on rail schemes and familiarity with client technical assurance processes and railway standards.Show competence in commercial and contractual aspects, delivering projects while managing commercial and contractual issues.Raise the profile of Ramboll’s rail offering across the UK and internationally, marketing extensively via networking, business meetings, seminars, thought leadership and general business development.Support and develop Building Services Engineers in all aspects of rail design, taking an active role in competence management and training oversight.Promote Ramboll’s multi‑discipline capability in the local market.Attract and grow a skilled, diverse, efficient, and highly regarded Ramboll Buildings team.About YouBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer, with a proven track record in the discipline.In‑depth knowledge of the rail sector across the UK.Previous experience leading and delivering major rail projects.A notable or growing profile as a highly regarded Building Services leader.A forward‑thinking, enthusiastic stance toward digital design innovation and ‘smart design’.Solid client‑facing skills, experienced in presenting to clients, preparing and negotiating proposals, and procuring project resources.Proven ability to win business for the company; understanding of the marketplace, growth sectors, and pipeline opportunities.Motivation to develop multidisciplinary professional teams.Aptitude for leadership and ambition for senior leadership career progression.Effective English oral and written communication skills.Personal Qualities That Will Help You SucceedClient focused.Good attention to detail and pride in the work produced.Ability to motivate and inspire confidence in peers and clients.What We Can Offer YouMultiple possibilities to develop and specialise your talent in a global organisation.Investment in your development.Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles.Be valued for the unique person you are.Never be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects.The long‑term thinking of a foundation‑owned company.Seniority LevelDirectorEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionCivil EngineeringEquality, Diversity, and InclusionWe believe in the strength of diversity and are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment where everyone can flourish and reach their potential. xpwpeyx All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
