Known for technical excellence and a collaborative approach, they offer structured career development, mentoring, and opportunities to work on high-profile projects that make a real impact on sustainability and climate goals.Your new roleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Waste and Resources Consultant to step into a Senior or Principal role (also considering higher levels up to Associate Director level). You'll play a key part in succession planning for a long-standing client relationship, taking the reins and driving projects forward. Your responsibilities will include:Preparing environmental permit applications and technical bid responses.Advising on waste treatment, collections, and compliance.Supporting procurement and facility development projects.Contributing to waste and minerals planning and auditing.Developing into a senior team member with project and client management responsibilities.Hybrid working is available, but office presence is preferred. Occasional UK travel may be required.What you'll need to succeedA degree in a related fieldProven experience with UK based environmental permitting from a waste backgroundSolid understanding of environmental legislation including deposit for recovery, and landfill regulationsExcellent written communication and report‑writing skills.Ability to hit the ground running and work independently or as part of a team.CIWM Chartership (or working towards).Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with challenging stakeholders in the waste industry.Full UK driving licence.What you'll get in returnCompetitive salary starting from £35,000 with no upper limit for the right candidate (Depending on Experience)Hybrid working policy with great flexibility.Structured career progression through promotionDevelopment via mentoring and CPD opportunities.Opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects across the UK.Various health benefits, life insurance etc.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up‑to‑date copy of your CV, or call us now.
