Join our dynamic Vehicle Hire and Damage team, where you’ll work on a diverse caseload and contribute to high-quality legal outcomes in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise in motor litigation, working on cases ranging from Simple Procedure to Ordinary Cause, including fraud-related matters. You’ll also handle liability, indemnity, and associated losses such as personal injury, credit repair, and diminution.What you will do?Act as a point of contact for clients in relation to Scottish claims, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.Support marketing and business development activity within the team (e.g. attending marketing events, client training, clinics and shadowing days).Handle a caseload litigated claims with elements of credit hire, damage, fraud and injury claims and achieve measures.Maintain an awareness of the firm's strategies and plans.Maintain and develop technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions and reading appropriate publications.You will be required to handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols.Court appearances as and when required.Meeting individual financial performance targets contributing to the team and wider products success.Who you areThe role is ideal for someone who:Enjoys solving a variety of different and interesting problems on a wide range of cases.Is interested in working with people in order to come to commercial and practical solutions.Enjoys working in a flexible, supportive and diverse team who share knowledge with each other.Wants to obtain exposure to client account management and business development.You will:Be a qualified Solicitor who has demonstrable experience of handling a caseloadHave expertise in commercial litigation generally, with demonstrable experience in managing a varied caseload in the Scottish courts?Be highly organised and a confident negotiator and communicator with an outstanding eye for detailHave excellent relationship and client handling skills.
