We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Qualifications Manager to lead the development, growth, and strategic direction of our qualifications, with an initial focus on Computer Science and Psychology GCSE and A Level. About the Role Own the retention and growth plans for a number of STEM qualifications, driving innovation and continuous improvement. Lead on amendments and new qualification developments. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as the learned societies, DfE and Ofqual, representing Pearson’s subject expertise and building our profile in the sector. Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, to ensure our qualifications inspire teachers, engage learners, and enable progression. Play a key role in qualification reform, contributing thought leadership and strategic insight to set us up for success in a changing landscape. Qualifications Proven experience in qualification development, product management, or subject leadership within education. Deep subject knowledge in at least one of Computer Science, Psychology or Sciences at KS4-5, with a passion for curriculum and assessment innovation. Understanding of high‑stakes assessment. Deep knowledge of the UK education market. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively, influence at all levels, and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
