OverviewYou will be leading a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills in tight collaboration practising Agile. You will be contributing to real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customer and participating in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professionals. Learning, developing your skills and becoming a rounded developer in the process. You will have experience in Python, Databricks, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to support and enhance our client’s AI-driven initiatives. Beyond technical expertise, you will follow software engineering best practices, including codebase security, testing, and scalability of AI systems. This role requires someone who is a self-starter and stays ahead of technology.ResponsibilitiesLead a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills in an Agile environmentCollaborate to make design decisions and deliver maintainable solutions for clientsDevelop and apply software engineering best practices, including security, testing, and scalability for AI systemsMentor and develop team members, fostering growth and continuous learningQualificationsExperience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environmentStrong software engineering background covering SOLID principles with extensive experience in PythonKnowledge of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision and other AI techniques and algorithmsExperience developing and deploying AI solutions using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Snowflake, or similar frameworks and toolsExperience developing REST-based APIsKnowledge and some experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, Docker)Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applicationsFront-end development experience with React is preferredSome experience in developing and deploying solutions on cloud preferably AWS Cloud, with experience in AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2 and DynamoDB preferredExperience writing unit tests and integration testsFinancial Services or Capital Markets experience is preferredAbility to lead teams, manage and co-ordinate stakeholder engagements and meetingsAbility to mentor junior members on the teamAdditional InformationAt Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being, professional growth, and financial stability.
