We are seeking an experienced EMEA Head of Global Credit and Financing Compliance to join our Markets & Securities Services Regulatory Compliance team, providing leadership, oversight and expert advisory support across credit and financing products. This is a critical role ensuring that all business activity is conducted in line with applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of EMEA Head of Global Credit and Financing Compliance. In this role you will: Provide strategic Compliance leadership and oversight across the credit, financing, and treasury businesses in the region. Ensure business practices align with all relevant regulatory requirements, laws, and internal standards. Lead independent oversight and challenge to ensure business objectives align with regulatory expectations. Manage a team of Regulatory Compliance Officers, providing guidance, support and challenge to key stakeholders. Provide regulatory advice on all relevant MSS regulations, including MIFID, MAR and DFA. Partner with Entity, Regional and Group Compliance where required to deliver on mandated initiatives, particularly coordinating with regional Compliance counterparts to share information and best practice. Build strong relationships with credit, financing, and treasury, NFR teams and COOs to support governance forums and business control frameworks. To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Extensive compliance advisory experience in Global Credit and Financing. Strong understanding of relevant front‑office products and activities. Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MIFID, MAR, and DFA. Proven leadership skills with experience managing compliance professionals. Ability to interpret regulatory change, assess impact and influence business adoption. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders. This role is based in London on a hybrid working basis. You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
