**The Role**: Associate Director, EMEA Structured Finance Sales - Commercial
**The Team**: is responsible for setting and executing commercial priorities for the Financial Services, Structured Finance, Infrastructure/Project Finance, Private Equity & Leverage Loan businesses in EMEA. As well as supporting the broader sales teams as technical experts in these markets, we are also responsible for managing and developing business with existing clients and winning new relationships. We are a team with a ‘can do’ attitude and a strong team ethic.
**The Impact**: sets and executes commercial priorities for Structured Finance and acts as a single point of contact for a portfolio of Structured Finance clients in the UK, Ireland & the Netherlands. Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue within these accounts and collaborating appropriately across Ratings and with other parts of S&P Global to deepen the relationship S&P Global has with the client. The orchestrator for all key non-analytical relationship issues across the portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Regional Head of SF in setting commercial priorities for the EMEA Structured Finance practice, aimed at growing revenue through price and new business opportunities from the existing product suite, whilst ensuring execution through regular communication and prioritization across the EMEA Sales team.
- Manage a portfolio of Structured Finance clients in the UK, Netherlands and Ireland, by developing strong 2-way relationships with senior personas at our clients, that achieve revenue targets and strategic account objectives including Sustainability and Ancilliary products.
- Manage complex negotiations of commercial contracts, whilst identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Ratings and to provide high-quality referrals to other S&P Global divisions through collaboration with relevant teams.
- Own and manage internal relationships with Ratings leaders across Commercial, Analytical and other functions in support of Structured Finance business priorities.
- Combine an assessment of market developments and client feedback to provide insights that enhance existing products and assist with the development of the new product pipeline.
- Operate within the Regulatory and Compliance frameworks laid down by the organization.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Good understanding of (debt) capital markets and corporate finance with experience of Relationship Management in a Structured Finance setting.
- An outgoing person with the ability to connect with customers to develop strong, long term and mutually beneficial relationships, to understand customer problems, prioritize and execute solution strategies that meet client needs.
- Broad knowledge of S&P Global and S&P Global Ratings and an ability to use insight selling skills to identify business opportunities, as an inquisitive and organized self-starter. Experience with Sustainable Finance markets would be an advantage.
- Experience of working with and motivating teams in a matrix organization in support of delivering strategic priorities for high-value businesses.
