Overview Hours of work: 15 hours per week (term time only and possibly school holidays). Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 18:00 After School Club. Official start date: Jan 2026. Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all a safe environment for all children in our care. Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, and providing an outstanding service for busy parents. Premier Education successfully runs full Wraparound provision in primary schools across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and provide high quality out of school care for parents. We are looking for an outstanding applicant to lead one of our new venues, with experience in a childcare setting. Responsibilities Lead the wraparound provision; organize places for children and manage a small team of staff. Liaise with the school Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body regarding the new provision. Ensure wraparound care runs to a high standard and reflects the school’s ethos. Plan activities to support and engage children before and after school; prepare a range of activities for each session (inside and outside). Oversee the weekly activities timetable and menus; communicate these to parents and the school. Conduct regular stock takes to ensure equipment is up to standard and replenish as needed. Order and prepare ingredients to provide healthy and nutritious snacks each day. Respond to emails and calls from parents; maintain daily registers and records on site. Ensure all first aid/incidents are reported and logged on site. Support CPD training for other staff members and devise the termly activity timetable. Report to the Wrap Around Care Manager on a daily/weekly basis. Work with children on homework during sessions as applicable. Ensure payment queries are handled and fees are collected as required. Qualifications and Experience Experience in a childcare environment preferred. Desirable: Appropriate Level 2 (or above) qualification (Child Care related). Desirable: Experience of working within a play-based setting. Desirable: Experience of budgeting. Desirable: Competent in using IT to support play and club administration. Desirable: Ability to work on own initiative. Desirable: Appropriate child protection training. Desirable: Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate; Food Hygiene Certificate. Must have achieved, or equivalent to, a Grade C or higher in English and Mathematics at GCSE level. Must be able to reply to emails and calls from parents; maintain professional communication. Contract and Scheduling Part-time hours: 15 per week. Job Type: Permanent, Part-time. Pay: £14 per hour. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 6:00pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
