Position: Before & After School Club Assistant Required from: 5th January 2026 Contract Type: Permanent, Part time (39 weeks per year, to include INSET days), 8.75 hours per week, 3.15pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday Salary: Grade 4, points 5 to 6: actual £5,019 to £5,058 (£24,804 to £24,999 FTE) Huncote Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our pupils. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Responsibilities Supervising children during before and after school activities. Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities. Providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children. Supporting children with their homework and other educational activities. Communicating effectively with parents and carers. Ensuring all behavioural, safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to. Qualifications Experience working with children in a similar setting. A genuine passion for working with primary aged children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
