Supporting Leeds Primary Schools with Inspirational Teachers & Support Staff 🍎 | Empowering Whole‑School Culture with Role Models & Training via… Milk Education is working with a Primary School in Leeds that is seeking a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to support across a general classroom with children with additional needs. This role starts as soon as possible. The School seeks someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs for this SEN Teaching Assistant position. Working hours are 08:30 am‑15:30 pm, Monday to Friday. In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will keep the child on task and ensure the work they are doing is of a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the child’s needs are met, providing a patient and nurturing learning environment. Teaching Assistant – Role & Responsibilities Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate Deliver catch‑up sessions Teaching Assistant – Non‑negotiables Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people within the past two years Must have a passion for education Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher Must be reliable and punctual Why choose Milk?
