Key Responsibilities You will be involved in developing the technical electrophysiology service, ensuring high standard patient care for electrophysiology studies and ablations. You will work closely with electrophysiology cardiologists, the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders to aid diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias using EP systems (Bard, Micropace) and 3D mapping (Carto V7). You will also be exposed to operating and performing Cryo ablation for AF/PVI procedures over time. Interventional Procedures: LHC and PCI (hemodynamic monitoring & reporting), coronary assessment (FFR/IFR‑RFR, IVUS, IVL), support TAVI and other valvuloplasty, closure device procedures (ASD, PFO, LAA), occasional RHC. CRM Procedures: Skilled knowledge of CRM implantation and follow‑up, box change, upgrade/downgrade, lead intervention and other CRM related procedures with exposure to left bundle, leadless and HIS pacing. Arrhythmia Therapies: Competent in electrophysiological studies & ablation, independent operation of Bard LSPRO with Micropace, performing diagnostic EP study and ablation, using Carto 3D mapping for atrial arrhythmias, SVT and VEs, and operating Cryo ablation system. Key Skills & Qualifications Appropriate clinical experience post qualification. High level specialist knowledge from training as a Clinical Physiologist. Extensive experience in invasive techniques for assessment and therapy of cardiac disease, specifically complex electrophysiology including 3D mapping. Ability to perform a range of specialist diagnostic investigations across clinical settings. Experience in supervising staff day‑to‑day. Ability to lead or participate in audit or research projects, and test/trial clinical equipment. Highly developed written and oral communication skills in English. Qualifications BSc(Hons) in Clinical Cardiac Physiology or equivalent. At least one certification for Electrophysiology and CRM. Certification from British Society of Heart Rhythm or European Heart Rhythm Association. Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development. Immediate Life Support (ILS) course.
