We are looking for an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our teams in Birmingham or Nottingham. Projects range in value up to £20m+ with high‑profile clients, offering a diverse and exciting workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, sociable office and advance your career. Your Role Lead and manage the commercial aspects of commissions and projects, including governance, fee management, internal job costings and resource requirements. Take a hands‑on approach to client relationships and service delivery, working with project management, health & safety, building surveying and consult teams. Generate repeat and new business opportunities, applying quality assurance and environmental management principles. Manage assistant and graduate colleagues, conducting performance reviews and providing mentoring and coaching. Support procurement strategies, prepare cost plans, bills of quantity, tender documents, and post‑contract services. Provide site presence as required and assist in the development of junior staff. About You Team player with extensive experience on major projects for private and public sector clients. Working knowledge of NEC contracts and project procurement options. Commercially aware, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient with Office, Outlook, BIM/CAD measurement and cost planning software (e.g., CATO). Self‑motivated, able to work independently and influence others using sound judgement. Drive to deliver high‑quality professional services and to grow a professional network.
