Your expertise will be key in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.ResponsibilitiesPreparing interim applications for payment and managing final accounts.Overseeing contract administration, including cost control, pricing variations, and dispute resolution.Managing subcontractor procurement, certifying payments, and agreeing subcontract terms.Issuing early warning notices for changes impacting cost or time.Conducting site visits, attending client meetings, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations to protect both business and employees.Collaborating with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to cost, time, and quality standards.Applicant CriteriaHND/BSc in Quantity Surveying.Demonstrable experience as a QUANTITY SURVEYOR in the UK Construction Industry – ideally within railway construction.Strong knowledge of contract administration, including NEC, JCT, or other standard forms of contracts.Proficient in reading and interpreting complex structural and architectural drawings.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal direction.Always act in a safe, ethical, and professional manner.Applicants must live within commuting distance of the advertised location.What To Do NowPlease apply now with your most up‑to‑date CV or call Graeme for more information.If this role is not for you but you would like to have a conversation regarding your next career move, do not hesitate to give us a call, in confidence.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
