We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming Primary School in Hatfield. This is a temporary position, and will provide invaluable experience in supporting the development of young learners, whilst supporting the busy and unexpected absences that occur in the school. Key Responsibilities Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age‑appropriate lessons for EYFS children Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment Helping with the preparation of learning resources and activities Providing one‑on‑one support to children, both academically and emotionally Assisting with assessments and tracking the progress of students Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children with their social and emotional development Essential Requirements DBS on the updated service (must be in force or ready to apply for a new DBS) Recent employment references Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work documentation required) Experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting A friendly, patient, and caring nature with a passion for working with young children Desirable But Not Essential Paediatric first aid qualification Benefits Experience in supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN) Supportive and welcoming school environment Opportunity to develop your skills and experience in early years education Competitive pay Part‑time hours (Monday to Friday) If you are interested, apply today Additional Information Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Education & Training Industries: Community Services Equal Opportunity Statement Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
