We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the high standards that Gana Foods is known for. Job Summary The Quality Assurance Professional will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality standards of all Gana Foods products. You will play an essential role in maintaining food safety regulations, managing quality control processes, and supporting continuous improvements within the production team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about food safety, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards from production through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Monitor and inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company specifications and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA, and other relevant standards). Conduct regular testing of products for taste, texture, appearance, and consistency. Record and analyze test results, and collaborate with the production team to address any issues. Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and inspections. Prepare reports for internal use and regulatory compliance. Provide training to production and warehouse teams on food safety, hygiene practices, and quality assurance protocols. Promote a culture of quality throughout the company. Identify areas for improvement in the production process, recommend solutions, and work with relevant departments to implement changes that enhance product quality. Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and ingredients meets our standards. Address and resolve any quality-related customer complaints. Investigate the root cause of quality issues and implement corrective actions. Qualifications A degree or equivalent in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.). Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
