Field Service Engineer - South Coast at CES Power About Your Role If you are a skilled, hands‑on, experienced generator engineer with an eye for detail who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to make a real impact, this role is for you. With your strong communication skills and proactive approach, we are looking for you to join our fantastic team at CES Power. You will be the go‑to expert for maintaining, servicing and repairing generators at our valued customer sites, which will involve a mix of troubleshooting, problem solving and travel. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators to ensure performance and reliability. With your problem‑solving abilities, you will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalating to the Technical Team for additional support if needed. You will support the business by being part of the on‑call rota. Safely travel to customer sites and carry out planned and reactive work, delivering great customer service and support regardless of the event. As someone who can work independently, you will prioritise your workload and ensure that your van is stocked with the right tools for first‑time fixes every time. What You’ll Bring Proactive and problem‑solving abilities, ready to take on any challenge. NVQ L3 or City & Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry. Own tools (a key requirement for on‑site work). Driver’s licence (required for travel). What We Can Give You Monday to Friday schedule, no weekends. 40 hours per week, with overtime and on‑call available. Career development opportunities.
