Complex Needs TA - GortonAre you a kind and compassionate teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs? We are currently recruiting for teaching assistants to join a large SEN high school in the Gorton area. The school supports pupils aged 11-19 with PMLD. Alternatively, support workers or support workers who can support these students.About the SchoolYou will be supporting children aged 11+ years old with a number of additional needs, often classed as complex. In addition to their learning difficulties, students in this base have multiple medical needs too including epilepsy, breathing difficulties and tube feeding etc. Students have difficulty communicating and are non-verbal, therefore alternative communication is used. The learning development is at sensory stage and personal care is required. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role.
