An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join our neuropsychology and rehabilitation services based at Moseley Hall Hospital in Birmingham. This is a preceptorship opportunity, with suitable candidates joining the organisation as an 8B Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology, with a supported preceptorship into an 8C Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist position once appropriate competencies have been achieved. Qualifications Substantial experience in Neuropsychology Completed the underpinning knowledge component of training towards eligibility for the Specialist Register for Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN) Demonstrable leadership and management experience relevant to a Band 8b level position Drive and willingness to achieve clinical, managerial and leadership competencies to enable progression to an 8C post within an agreed timeframe Qualifications that confer eligibility for the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists Responsibilities Deliver a Clinical Psychology Service commensurate with a postgraduate doctoral level of training and further specialist training and experience Ensure the systematic provision of a high‑quality specialist clinical psychology service to adults with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions Supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment Support proposals and implementation of policy changes within the area served by the service, and be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical services to clients, their families and carers Line‑manage Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists Contact for Pre-application Discussions Dr Christian Holmes, Divisional Lead Consultant PsychologistEmail: christian.holmes@nhs.netTelephone: 01214666143 #J-18808-Ljbffr
