Senior Data Analyst (FTC) – Lloyds Banking Group End Date: Wednesday, 10 December 2025 Salary: £39,825 – £44,250 Flexible Working: Hybrid (40% office or two days on site) and Job Share options Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (FTC) Location(s): Halifax, Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Leeds, Manchester Hours: Full time Working Pattern: Hybrid – 40% office Contract: 12‑month fixed term About the Role The Homes Commercial Team supports customers with mortgage needs and manages the UK’s largest mortgage portfolio – pricing over £80 billion annually across Halifax, Lloyds, Scottish Widows and Birmingham Midshires. As a Senior Data Analyst you will deliver high‑quality data, tooling, analytics and execution capabilities that drive commercial performance and strategic objectives of the Homes business. You will work closely with senior leaders, cross‑functional teams and influence change to improve data, analytics, tooling and working practices. What you will be doing Supporting the delivery of data, analytics, and insight capabilities that contribute to the commercial performance and strategic direction of the Homes business. Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of data management, controls, and governance, minimising risk and ensuring compliance with group standards. Acting as a champion for change, contributing ideas and identifying opportunities to improve our data, analytics, tooling, and ways of working. Collaborating with technical and non‑technical colleagues to understand business needs and deliver aligned, impactful outcomes. Why Lloyds Banking Group We’re on an exciting journey. Proficiency in SQL, Python and Power BI – experience with GCP native tools is a bonus but not essential. Interest in developing future‑focused skills, supporting cross‑team learning and collaboration. Proactive and adaptable mindset, able to solve problems and contribute to change in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills, confident storytelling, influencing outcomes and working effectively across diverse teams. Familiarity with Agile principles and tools such as Jira is desirable. Experience in Mortgages and/or Pricing Analysis is helpful, though not required.
