Freelance Finishing Manager / Foreman

Location: Tewksbury 

Contract Type: Freelance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Finishing Manager/Foreman to support our projects during the final stages of construction. Working on a freelance basis, you will take responsibility for coordinating finishing trades, managing snagging, and ensuring all works are delivered to top-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all finishing trades on site, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.

Manage day-to-day finishing operations, including snagging, quality checks, and progress reporting.

Ensure all works meet specifications, drawings, and client expectations.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the main site team to maintain efficient workflow.

Conduct regular inspections, address issues promptly, and ensure timely completion.

Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment.

Provide clear daily updates to the Site Manager/Project Manager.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience as a Finishing Manager, Finishing Foreman, or similar finishing-focused role.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional quality.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and finishing schedules.

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently on a freelance basis.

Relevant site qualifications (CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS) preferred.
