The delivery function develops and builds Data Platforms, Integrations, ML platforms etc for our clients – and Managed Services provides ongoing support and management once built and delivered. We are looking to supplement our team with a Senior Managed Services Consultant who has deep technical knowledge and client‑focused experience in delivering ongoing support and optimisation for enterprise data platforms. In this role, you’ll act as a technical lead and escalation point for support services, working closely with our clients to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance their data environments across cloud and on‑premise technologies. You will be instrumental in ensuring service delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and building long‑term client relationships through proactive support and consulting. You’ll be working, collaborating and socialising with your colleagues across all three of our offices in the UK, Bulgaria, and India. There will be a need to work outside of the normal office hours occasionally, but this can be remotely (from your home) and of course, this time will be recognised and rewarded. We are looking for a dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who is passionate and eager to learn new skills. There will be regular contact with clients, so applicants must be comfortable discussing technical concepts in a clear and concise language. Responsibilities Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents, problems, and service requests. Have an influence on the architecture of solutions with a focus on supportability. Contribute to our framework and processes. Data administration including Purview and Orchestration. Data quality rule administration and reporting. Ensure compliance of the solutions supported and carry out periodic architecture reviews. Create and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans. Create technical documentation, sharing operational and technical knowledge with the wider team. Manage small development projects to ensure our clients’ platforms are able to grow and adapt to their changing needs. Help to define and shape ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a mentor to the wider Managed Service team. Experience & Skills Experience and exposure to modern data platform technology, particularly Microsoft Tech Stack, including Azure, from a similar role. Significant demonstrable experience in (but not limited to) Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, DevOps, Integration Services, Analysis Services. Strong understanding of SQL querying. Strong record of organization, proactivity and diligence – in a customer‑facing environment. Attention to detail and a focus on continual improvement. Extensive problem‑solving experience and ability to identify both opportunities and issues. Strong ability to communicate (with strong written and spoken English) – experience leading client‑facing meetings essential. Ability to effectively and concisely communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with various programming languages – SQL, Python/Pyspark, C#, Powershell, DAX, .NET. Additional languages that may benefit KQL, Javascript/VueJS & PowerQuery. Ability and attitude towards investigating and sharing new technologies. Experience of technical training/mentoring other team members.
