CER Hull are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our network of support staff for schools in the Hull & Surrounding area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students with their learning, development, and well-being. Responsibilities Provide classroom support to teachers, helping students with their learning. Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources. Offer 1:1 or small group support to students, potentially including those with special educational needs (SEN). Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Support students in their personal, social, and emotional development. Assist with classroom management and behaviour when required. Monitor and record student progress as directed by the class teacher. Requirements Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (essential). A passion for supporting young people in their learning and development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards learning. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Why work with CER?
